Listening to our Village Residents to Preserve and Enhance the Natural Beauty of Our Community
- I'm against adding 5g cell towers to streets where the neighbors don't want them. We have a petition signed by hundreds of neighbors against adding cell towers near or on our streets. I'll argue against putting towers on streets that don't want them
- Some neighbors we talked to wouldn't mind a tower on their street for better service. I'll work with you, the providers and planners to determine best options
- The Telegraph median between Franklin and Bingham Farms looks much worse than medians north of 14 mile and medians in Southfield - why is this? I will work to improve our median and adjacent boundaries by adding additional trees, shrubs and perennials that better represent the overall beauty of our village
- Some areas along 13 mile are hilly and beautiful with large mature overhanging trees with frequent deer crossings; but, speeds are often much greater than posted and make exiting from our roads difficult and dangerous. I'll work with the road commission and neighbors to add a "Natural Beauty Road" designation to sections of 13 mile and lower the speed limit to make it safer for our community including pedestrians and bikers.
